Hi everyone, and happy Sunday! Today I’m sharing with you my review on the new Smashbox Cover Shot Palette along with the new Legendary Liquid Lipstick. I haven’t used many of the Smashbox products, just their foundation and one of their primers, so I was super excited for the chance to try out some new goodies for a change! Lets get started.
Honestly, I was so excited when I opened this palette. It contains every matte shade you could possibly need for an everyday or dramatic eye makeup look, warm and cool toned matte shades- all compacted into one small palette! It’s perfect for a quick, easy palette to add into your collection while you’re traveling because it does not take up too much space! As far as the quality of the shadows, I was honestly blown away. They are so velvety and buttery when you’re applying them to your eye- making it super easy to blend out to create the perfect blown out smokey eye. (Check out my #MOTD selfie using this palette, here.) I would definitely recommend this to all of my readers, friends & family who is looking for a universal matte eyeshadow palette. A+, Smashbox!
I got the new Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick in the shade Brains N’ Bronze. It’s a deep, maroon, brick shade. I am in loveeee with the color, I am a sucker for any deep red toned lipsticks. However, when I swatched this lipstick on my wrist- I was honestly 100% turned off by how thick the product was
. I am not a huge fan of liquid lipsticks anyways, especially ones like this which happen to be a glossy finish rather than a matte. BUT! I know a lot of people are opposite, and tend to rather a glossy finish to their lipsticks, so if that’s you- you would absolutely love this lipstick. The thickness of this product definitely makes a huge difference in how long the product lasts on your lips- so you will for sure get your moneys worth with this glossy, metal finish lipstick.
Have you tried these products yet?! I want to hear your thoughts on these new Smashbox goodies, too! Leave a comment down below. I love hearing from my readers.
