It’s tough to come across beauty products that are all organic, but still work well and get the job done. I’ve recently started working at eliminating products that are not paraben/sulfate free out of my beauty regimens. It is way, way, way easier said than done, but we’re getting there!
The hair salon I am employed at carries J. Beverly Hills, Kevin Murphy, and Loma products. I was going back and forth between different J. Beverly Hills shampoos and conditioners, then I decided to grab the Loma Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner and I think they are taking the cake for my favorite shampoo and conditioner of all time.
Loma products are all paraben, sulfate and gluten free- they are also made with all certified organic ingredients. This makes it a great pick for people with sensitive skin on the scalp area, and those like me who are trying to go green with beauty products!
I grabbed the Loma Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner because it is made for chemically treated, dry hair. I just recently got foils done to brighten my hair up for the summer- so my hair has been a little more fragile than usual. The shampoo and conditioner contains ingredients like Tamanu Oil, Olive Oil, and Shea Butter to restore the nature moisture levels in the hair while providing an all over natural, beautiful shine. Just a little bit of this shampoo goes a long way, since it lathers up fairly quickly. I typically only wash my hair twice a week, and I only use about a nickel to quarter size of product to shampoo my whole head. Oh, and the scent of these products…….. I’m obsessed. They are infused with pear and cranberry extract. If heaven were to have a scent, this shampoo and conditioner is the sneak peak.
These products are available for purchase at my salon, Plush Hair Design, in Massachusetts. If you’re not in the South Shore or Massachusetts area, make sure you click the link above to find a Loma salon near you. I would not recommend purchasing these hair products online from any retailer besides a Loma salon.
Have you tried Loma products before? What are your favorite all organic beauty products? I’d love to hear from you!!
